STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Michael Gibbs, 26, Lanier Drive — suspended license, window tint violation.
    Gus Lars Gunnar Grinde, 60, West Main Street — suspended license, defective equipment.
    Wesley James Cooper, 20, Statesboro Place Circle — wanted person.
    Gregory Fitzgerald Smith Jr., 20, Ga. 46 — marijuana possession, obstruction, giving false information.
    Tangya Schantay Simkins, 45, Len Tenner Court — begging/soliciting by accosting others.
 
Incidents
    WILDWOOD DRIVE — A woman said someone used her credit card to make unauthorized purchases.
    VISTA CIRCLE — A woman said someone stole a GPS unit, $20 and phone charger from her car.
    THE POINTE AT SOUTHERN — A woman reported the theft of $200.
    GEORGIA AVENUE — An intoxicated man found with a head injury said he did not know what happened. He was taken by EMS for treatment.

Arrests
    Devin Jerrod Prince,24, Van Buren Street — child support lockup (failure to pay).
    Ricky Smith, 42, U.S. 17, Darien — child support lockup (failure to pay).
 
Incidents
    LAKESIDE DRIVE — (Portal) A woman received a text reading “They hid the bodies with the rest.” When her husband called the number from which the text came, a man stated the same thing.
    PEAR ORCHARD LANE — (Statesboro) A woman reported someone stole two wallets and suspected a visitor.
    CEDARWOOD ACRES — (Register) A woman reported the theft of a stove, suitcases, air conditioner, weight set, and two bikes.
    ANDERSON PARRISH ROAD — (Portal) A man said an adult male has been conversing with his juvenile daughter via Facebook. Neither of them know the man, who was asked by deputies to stop communicating with the girl.
    STILSON LEEFIELD ROAD — (Stilson) A man reported the theft of tin, metal rims and metal pipes.
    WESTSIDE MOBILE HOME PARK — (Statesboro) Two women fought after a disagreement over juveniles.

    Officers issued 11 traffic citations Tuesday.
    Daniel Alexander Poppell, 18, Chandler — public indecency, possession of a false ID.
    Gerald Zion Fils, 19, Chandler Road — underage possession of alcohol, obstruction of law enforcement officer.

Incidents
    Officers issued five traffic warnings and assisted one motorist Tuesday.
    HENDERSON LIBRARY — A check was found and turned over to officers. Also, a book was reported stolen.
    KENNEDY HALL — A set of keys, a cell phone and some credit cards were found.
    FOOTBALL PRACTICE FIELD — Officers found an athletic bag containing first aid materials.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Tuesday:
    Bulloch County EMS —  five accident calls, two fire calls, one rescue call and 18 medical calls.
    Candler County EMS — six medical calls.
    Evans County EMS —  four medical calls.
 

    Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls  Tuesday:  one to Bulloch Humane Enforcement, three to Air Evac, and six to Bulloch County First Responders.
