Incidents
    RUMRUNNERS — A man told police a room inside his business is named the “Plantation Room,” and a sign was installed in front of the business reflecting the room name. The man said that between 2:45 and 6:46 a.m. Tuesday, someone used red spray paint on the new sign, causing $500 damage, and tagged the name “J. Davis” on a wooden bench in black spray paint.

Incidents
    ADABELLE ROAD — (Register) Deputies responded to a residence at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a burglary in progress. A man told officers he and another man came to the home to measure windows. They found a broken window on the back of the house, looked inside and saw a woman standing near the window, trying to hide. The men called the homeowner and, while waiting, they saw the woman run around the home. About 15 minutes later, that woman and another one approached the men’s pickup truck, and asked about the home. Deputies soon found the women at their home on Settlement Road. The women said they left their home to dump household trash and stopped by the Adabelle Road home to look at it. They said they found the broken window in the back and entered the home to look around, then left and talked to the men. There were posted “no trespassing” signs on the property and at the entrance to the driveway. The women were arrested and charged with criminal trespass.
