INCIDENTS

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ PLANTATION MOBILE HOME PARK – A man allowed a couple to live with him for free to help them out financially, but there was an agreement that the couple give him a car in exchange for child care. The man and couple argued and the couple wanted to take the car back, so the man told deputies they owed him $500.

▲ MY COUSIN VINNIE’S – A man reported a $20 chair stole

 

➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ STAMBUK LANE – A woman said her ex-boyfriend damaged her bedroom door.

Also, police investigated several cases of entering auto. One suspect was arrested.

▲ WAL-MART SUPERCENTER – A person was cited for shoplifting a gaming system and other items valued at around $160.

In another report, someone was sent to jail on charges of felony shoplifting. Reports listing items taken were unavailable.

▲ DOLLAR TREE/COLLEGE PLAZA – A person left the store without paying for an item.

▲ LESTER ROAD – Police arrested a man after a woman said he pushed her down, causing her to injure her head.

▲ MAX LOCKWOOD DRIVE – A man was arrested on charges of begging and soliciting.

▲ RED ROOF INN – A woman complained about another tenant’s dog “charging her children.” When the clerk told her to calls police, the complainant threatened the clerk with harm after asking the clerk to come outside.

▲ NORTH MAIN STREET – A woman called police when her juvenile daughter, upon being disciplined, slapped her.

▲ LANIER DRIVE – A woman said an unknown person threatened to strike her and damage her vehicle.

▲ MIKELL STREET – Officers responded to a physical domestic dispute and gave the parties involved information on magistrate court proceedings.

▲ VISTA CIRCLE – A woman said an unknown man rang her doorbell and then vanished around the side of her building. Police did not find him.

▲ NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST (500 Block)  – A customer in the drive thru line of a restaurant struck an employee trying to help her with “an issue.” Then the customer drove off.

▲ NELSON WAY – A man and woman argued, and someone called police. The man left the scene after police arrived and the woman stayed at the home with children.

▲ ENMARKET/NORTHSIDE DRIVE WEST – Someone left without paying for a pack of Newport Gold cigarettes.

 

➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued no traffic citations and three traffic warnings and assisted four motorists Monday.

▲ SOUTHERN COURTYARD – Officers responded to a complaint of harassment.

▲ SOUTHERN PINES – Someone reported a suspicious person.
