A woman reported someone threatened by text to kill her and her son.

▲ G.W. OLIVER ROAD — A man said he feels someone is tampering with his property. He has found oil leaks where someone appeared to have loosened his oil filter, and found a Coca Cola can in his truck. He told deputies there was heavy foot traffic in the area.

▲ HIGHWAY 67 — A man told deputies he felt he was a victim of a check scam. Deputies verified his suspicions.

▲ BOOSTER BOULEVARD — A man was hosting a small party when a large group of people showed up who were not invited. The complainant started asking everyone to get off the roof (apparently several people had climbed on top of his house) and to leave, as he wanted the party to end. Someone unknown to him struck him in the back of the head and then the face, and a fight between several people occurred, he said. At least two victim suffered visible injuries; one went to the hospital and had visible wounds to the face as well as blood in his ears. The victims were unable to identify any of the offenders.

▲ ASPEN HEIGHTS — A man was arrested on charges of hit-and-run.

▲ MARTIN LUTHER KING DRIVE — A woman reported someone threatened by text to kill her and her son.

▲ CONE HOMES — Police responded to a welfare check and found a victim in need of medical help. The case was listed as a simple battery incident but the victim declined to press charges.

▲ CHURCH STREET — A woman reported finding a small bag of marijuana in her mailbox.

▲ WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A person was arrested for shoplifting pajamas, soft drinks, candy, a Nerf gun, foam plates, boots, and a queen-sized airbed.

▲ LESTER ROAD — Someone reported the theft of a 2003 GMC Sierra truck.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — Officers responded to a domestic dispute that was verbal in nature.

In a separate call, police responding to reports of gunfire in the area discovered the noise was made by someone setting off fireworks.

▲ SUMMIT APARTMENTS — Individuals involved in a domestic squabble agreed to separate for the night.

▲ MAXWAY — A person was served with a criminal trespass warning after shoplifting $2 worth of food.

▲ Officers issued six traffic citations and two traffic warnings and assisted seven motorists.

▲ OLYMPIC BOULEVARD — A person was judicially referred to university officials for discipline over an alcohol violation. The person was not criminally charged.

▲ OLD REGISTER ROAD — Someone reported a suspicious person/activities.

▲ EAGLE VILLAGE — A person was judicially referred to university officials for discipline over an alcohol violation. The person was not criminally charged.
