INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police Department

HOBBY LOBBY - A person was arrested for shoplifting $192 worth of party cards and decorations.
KMART - A juvenile boy shoplifted $23 worth of undisclosed items. He was turned over to his mother, and the officer called the Department of Juvenile Justice.
MAPLE DRIVE - A man who was checking on a friend's home discovered the house had been egged and a Trump campaign sign placed in the trash.
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - A woman shoplifted $15 worth of clothing and was arrested.
Another shoplifter escaped with $488 worth of undisclosed items.
In another incident, a woman accused of third-offense shoplifting was arrested for switching labels and concealing $50 worth of items.
NORTH MAIN STREET - A man found lying on the ground, intoxicated, refused to comply with officer's orders. He used vulgar and profane language and was arrested.
THE GROVE APARTMENTS - A woman said an unknown person grabbed her by the hair and struck her several times.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
MILL CREEK LODGE - Deputies are investigating a reported sexual assault/suspicious incident.
NEWTON TRAILER PARK - A woman said a man struck her on the arm and head during an argument.
ST. PAUL CHURCH ROAD - A man reported a chainsaw was missing. He said he noticed a man picking up pecans that belonged to the complainant, with a bucket that was the complainant's and that had been in the shed with the chainsaw. The suspect said another man may have gotten the saw, and when that man pulled up, he saw deputies and fled. When a deputy located him, he did not have the chainsaw, but the deputy then discovered that the other man had outstanding warrants.
MILLER GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH - A woman reported the theft of a fall floral arrangement from her husband's grave.
NEVILS GROVELAND ROAD - A man and woman argued about his food stamp card. The woman was intoxicated, and the struggle became physical. A door jamb was damaged.
BOOSTER BOULEVARD - A man called 911 Sunday after being cut on the shoulder and chest by a man with a knife. The victim caught the male offender in his vehicle, and a struggle ensued before the offender cut him and fled. The victim called 911 and later denied EMS services.
HIGHWAY 80 EAST - A woman ran over a man's foot during a domestic dispute. She said it was an accident; he said she did it on purpose and told him that she hoped she broke every bone in his leg.
CEDARWOOD ACRES MOBILE HOME PARK - A man said an intoxicated woman hit him in the mouth with a spoon. He said they argue all the time and that he was going to stay with his mother.
GERRALD'S ONION SHED/CLITO ROAD - Someone tried to enter the building and stole an air conditioner from outside.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued six traffic citations and five traffic warnings and assisted eight motorists.
