INCIDENT REPORTS

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

LAKEVIEW ROAD – A woman received a call from a man claiming she won $2.5 million from Publisher’s said she had to pay $399 in fees in order to get her money. She knew it was a scam and called deputies.

LOW COUNTRY KUBOTA - Someone reported the theft of an enclosed cab excavator. There was evidence of the theft, including tire tracks and footprints of someone wearing Nike Air Jordan shoes.

BROOK RUN – A man said someone broke into a house where he was working and stole his work tools.

HODGES CIRCLE – A woman found her five year old child crying, and he said the neighbor’s dog bit him on the leg. The dog’s owner denied the dog bit anyone, stating the dog was with her, and asked that the child be served with criminal trespass for her property. In the end she just asked the child’s mother to keep her child home. The case was turned over to animal control.

 

Statesboro Police Department

NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST – A call was listed as “unlawful conduct during a 911 call,” but the reporting officer stated the call involved a pedestrian in the roadway.

FAIR ROAD – A woman said she left an EBT card at a business and someone used it to buy food.

SOUTH MULLBERY STREET – A woman told police a neighbor broke into her house and stole electricity via a power cord.

COOKOUT – Victims told police they argued with another customer, who threw his drink on them and left. The victims were given information on seeking warrants.

HWY. 67 – Someone told police that during an argument, a man overturned a couch and tables.

PACKINGHOUSE ROAD – A woman said a person near her residence had a gun. Police logged the call as suspicious activity.

THE LODGE APARTMENTS – Someone was injured during a domestic dispute. No charges were made, but victims were given information on seeking warrants.

 

Georgia Southern University Police

Friday, officers issued three traffic citations no warnings and assisted six motorists.

DINING COMMONS – Someone reported a verbal dispute.

CENTENNIAL PLACE – A student was judicially referred to university authorities for discipline ne over an alcohol violation instead of being criminally charged.

KENNEDY HALL – Someone reported a criminal trespass case.
