INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    OLD REGISTER ROAD — A woman told deputies her elderly grandmother threatened her with a knife, then said she just had one in her possession during an argument about the grandmother accusing the complainant of stealing from her.
    RAINDROP DRIVE — A woman reported the theft of a trash can, needing a report so the property manager would replace it.
    CLIPONREKA ROAD — Someone reported a Great Dane shot by an unknown person. Neighbors told humane enforcement and deputies the dog was known to be aggressive, but no one said they knew who shot the dog, which showed signs of being struck by buckshot and died as a result.
    ROCKY FORD ROAD — A man reported someone broke into a shed and stole several tools.
    BUTTERMILK ROAD — A 14-year-old boy struck his mother during an argument about schoolwork. She said he was not taking medications properly and asked that he not be arrested. Deputies advised the teen of consequences for future actions such as the physical attack.
    BANKS CREEK CHURCH ROAD — A woman said a female she did not know, but whom she has seen walking the streets of Portal, came to her house acting strangely. When she told the strange woman she had called for help, the suspicious female sat down in the roadway and contacted someone to come get her.

Statesboro Police Department
    CEDARWOOD GNETS SCHOOL — A student engaged in an altercation with a teacher. The student was taken into custody and released to his parents later.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A woman was arrested for shoplifting a $30 ring.
    BELK — Two juveniles were arrested for shoplifting $265 worth of clothing. They were turned over to guardians per direction by the Department of Juvenile Justice.
    LANIER DRIVE — Someone reported $40 worth of unspecified items stolen during a burglary. A more specific address was not listed in public reports.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued no traffic citations and four traffic warnings and assisted 11 motorists.
