Incidents
ASPEN HEIGHTS — A woman told police at 11:21 p.m. Oct. 23 that someone cut two window screens to her unit.
EAGLE CREEK TOWNHOUSES — A man told police at 4:42 a.m. Tuesday that someone stole a wallet with cards and keys from a bedroom. There was no sign of forced entry into the residence.
STATESBORO HIGH SCHOOL — Police responded at 10 a.m. Tuesday in reference to a disturbance. A male and female were arrested and taken to jail.
WAL-MART — A store employee told police at 2:17 p.m. Tuesday that a woman stole two bottles of lotion. She was arrested and taken to jail.
EAGLE FLEA AND CONSIGNMENT — Police responded at 5:11 p.m. Tuesday in reference to shoplifting. After an investigation, a man was arrested and taken to jail. No description of the items taken was given.
MARVIN AVENUE — A woman told police at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday that when she returned home, all of the potted plants on her front porch were turned over and a window screen in the back of the house was removed but the window was not touched. Entry was not gained, and nothing was taken.
JOHNSON STREET — A man told police that his bicycle was stolen from inside his home between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Austin Corvin Gleaton, 20, Estate Lake Drive, Fairburn, Ga. — sale of marijuana, unlawful use of communication facilities, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession and use of a drug-related object.
Malaana Denise Jackson, 27, Burroughs Street, Savannah — financial transaction card fraud, theft by taking.

Incidents
MILLER STREET EXTENSION — A woman told deputies at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday that she and a man argued over her selling shoes on Facebook. She said she went to return the items to him. He came to her car and talked to her and during the conversation, he struck her in the mouth, she said. She said she tried to drive away, and the man ran to a vacant trailer next door, grabbed a brick and threw it through her driver’s side rear window. He told police that after the argument over selling shoes, she became irate and threatened to run him over and that her vehicle struck him on the leg. That was when, he said, he grabbed a brick and broke the window. He was arrested and taken to jail.
GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
Arrests
Rylee J. Law, 17, Lanier Drive — possession of schedule II controlled substance, original container required.
Incidents
Officers issued one traffic warning and assisted four motorists Tuesday.
NURSING/CHEMISTRY BUILDING — A woman told police at 1:52 p.m. Monday that her wallet had just been stolen while she had left her table in a classroom for a few minutes. The wallet contained debit cards, identification, $150 cash and an iPhone 6. A tracker on the phone revealed it was at a Georgia Avenue location.
EAGLE VILLAGE — A woman told police that someone stole the tires and rims off her bicycle, which was locked to a bike rack, between 8 a.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Monday.
RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER — A man told police that someone stole his keys and university ID card from a cubby facing two basketball courts while he was playing basketball between 7 and 9 p.m. Friday.
SOUTHERN PINES — Officers saw a woman standing in the parking lot at 9:22 p.m. Saturday and, as they drove past, they smelled a strong odor of burning marijuana. A search of the area where she had been standing did not produce any visual evidence of marijuana, but the odor was strong. The woman consented to a search of her room, which revealed a cigar blunt with the tobacco removed, another blunt still in a wrapper and a small piece of a plastic bag on the desk with marijuana. The woman was judicially referred to university officials for disciplinary action.
J LOT — Officers saw a man sitting behind a dumpster at 1:34 a.m. Sunday. When they asked him what he was doing, he said he came outside to smoke, in violation of the campus tobacco ban. He was advised to leave campus to smoke in the future and was judicially referred to university officials for disciplinary action.
KAPPA DELTA — A woman told police that someone entered her vehicle between 8:30 p.m. Oct. 23 and 12:30 p.m. Friday, forced open the glove box and threw the items inside around the vehicle, and stole $200 cash from the center console and scattered items around the vehicle. She said the doors were locked, but police found no sign of forced entry.
CEJ PARKING LOT — An officer saw a man taking canned beverages from a cooler in the bed of a pickup truck at 9:12 p.m. Friday. As the officer approached, he saw that they were beer cans and that the man was transferring them from the cooler to a book bag. The man declined to give a breath sample, but the officer noted a “moderate odor” of alcohol from the man’s breath and person. The man also, on the officer’s request, produced a fake ID. The man was judicially referred to university officials for disciplinary action.
MALECKI DRIVE — An officer stopped a vehicle for driving 42 mph in a 25-mph zone while conducting speed detection at 8:23 p.m. Sunday. The officer saw pills in a plastic baggy, and the woman’s story about who the pills belonged to did not check out. She was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and original container required. She was judicially referred to university officials for disciplinary action for speeding.
GARDEN OF THE COASTAL PLAIN — An employee told police that the iron front gate was damaged and a post, two fence pieces and LED light were broken between 7 p.m. Oct. 21 and 8 a.m. Oct. 22.
