INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police Department

WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - A person was arrested after being caught concealing $25 worth of clothing and not paying.
A man concealed $70 worth of electronics in his pants and left without paying. He, too, was arrested.
QUALITY INN & SUITES - A man known to the complainant walked behind the desk and took $572.57 from the cash register.
JOHNSON STREET - A woman was arrested after damaging a TV and other furniture during a domestic dispute.
OLYMPIC BOULEVARD - A man was arrested after refusing to leave a fraternity house after police ordered him to do so.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
FLAMINGO DRIVE - A woman said she cleaned a man's house, and when she asked to be paid, he refused and would not allow her to leave, holding her at gunpoint. She said the man struck her, cutting her eyebrow. The man said he never pulled a gun and that he refused to allow her use of his truck, and she attacked him. Then she went into another room and returned with a cut on the brow. He said she was a friend and the altercation was due to her drinking. He had also been drinking, reports stated.
JO DAN ROAD - A man said he spoke with his wife Sunday and she told him there was money missing from their checking account. He said he told her he did not want to talk about it because he would get angry. He was looking through documents the following day, Monday, and found where she had written information (undisclosed in reports) down on paper. His wife died later that day, and he later discovered about $14,000 had been taken from the account. He questioned the bank, and they did not know reasons the money was taken. He said he knew his wife had been considering applying for a grant, but he knew nothing about the grant, except that the agency with which she had applied for the grant took the money.
POJO'S/HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH - A Freightliner transfer truck drove over the septic tank and became stuck. The company that owns the truck agreed to pay for damages.
J. BIRD LANE - A man said he has video of people in a light-colored Dodge truck who came onto his property, took his Polaris, and later returned it.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued no traffic citations and one traffic warning and assisted six motorists.
