Police report - 10-11-15; Seven dogs and three cats were euthanized at animal shelter.

Arrests/Citations
    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Statesboro Police Department
    Deonte McKinley Bracey, 22, Lanier Drive — wanted person (Bloomingdale).
    Shatora Sharnell Denson 29, Meadow Drive — no insurance, tag/registration violation, giving false information, suspended license.
    Cynthia Long Harrell, 62, Mikell Street — obstruction.
    Christopher Nakia Jones, 40, Ben Street, Swainsboro — marijuana possession.
    Katherine Virginia Craft, 30, Hwy. 67 — suspended license, tag lights violation, tag/registration violation.

Brooklet Police
    Kevin Randall Warren, 30, Lakewood Road, Statesboro — wanted person (Bibb County), suspended license, speeding. 
    Octavious Tuvache Jones, 18, East Main Street — speeding, driving without a valid license.

INCIDENTS
    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Wednesday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Metter Police Department
    CEDAR STREET — Police investigated a report of fraudulently obtaining controlled substances and forgery.
    NORTH LEWIS STREET — Someone reported a theft incident.
    COLLEGE STREET — Police investigated a theft report.
    MLK BOULEVARD — Officers responded to a reported fight and simple battery report.
    SCOTT STREET — Someone reported a battery incident.
    WEST CANDLER STREET — Someone reported a theft by taking incident.
    SOUTH LEWIS STREET —Police investigated an entering auto incident.
    DAVID STREET — Someone reported a stalking and burglary incident.

Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    Reports for Sept. 28-Oct. 4; shelter was closed part of the week for kennel floor renovation.
    Citizens in rural Bulloch County surrendered five dogs and two cats; City of Statesboro residents surrendered two dogs and 16 cats.
    Humane Enforcement officers collected 14 dogs and four cats from rural areas; six dogs and four cats from within Statesboro city limits.
    The shelter adopted out four cats and four dogs.
    Owners reclaimed eight dogs.
    Two dogs and a cat died at the shelter.
    Seven dogs and nine cats were euthanized.
    Fees collected totaled $705.

    Week of Sept. 21-27: shelter was closed for kennel floor renovation.
    Citizens in rural areas surrendered one dog and one cat, while residents of the City of Statesboro surrendered one dog and four cats.
    Humane officers collected nine dogs and two cats from rural areas, and seven dogs and a cat from inside the City of Statesboro.
    No adoptions were made, as the shelter was closed this week for renovations.
    Two owners reclaimed dogs.
    No animals died at the shelter.
    Nine dogs and nine cats were euthanized.
    Fees collected totaled $215.

    Week of Sept. 14-20:
    Citizens from rural areas surrendered two dogs and three cats; City of Statesboro residents surrendered nine dogs and eight cats.
    Humane officers collected 22 dogs and no cats from rural areas, while collecting two dogs and three cats from inside Statesboro city limits.
    The shelter adopted two dogs and a cat.
    Owners reclaimed two dogs.
    A dog and two cats died at the shelter.

    Fees collected totaled $405.
