Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    PINEVIEW ROAD — Deputies responded to a domestic dispute where a man who had been drinking allegedly became upset over finding an old phone number in his wife’s phone.
    OLD REGISTER ROAD — A man reported someone stole $80 from his car.
    In a separate report, someone told deputies an unknown person stole a firearm from a vehicle.
    Yet another man reported a gun and cash were stolen from two of his vehicles.
    Others in the area also reported vehicles had been ransacked, but nothing taken.
    SARAH SORRELL ROAD — A Statesboro Herald newspaper delivery contactor told deputies a white man with a beard, in a blue Ford F150, approached him, got out of his truck and pointed a camouflage handgun at him. Then, the offender left the area.
    SINKHOLE ROAD — A man reported seeing another male walking on his property.
    HORSE AND BUGGY LANE — A woman told deputies she said “hey” to a man driving past, who she only knows by his first name, and he stopped. He asked her “What do you mean by ‘hey?’” and accused her of having a gun on his property during a previous incident. He then said “You’re not the only one who has a gun, missy” and showed her a silver revolver that was in a box in his car. She said the offender had also pulled up a small tree in her yard the night before.
    DOLLAR GENERAL/HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH — A district manager for the store, as well as the company call center, received threatening calls from an unknown man who said he would kill the manager if he didn’t stop “trash-talking his old lady.”
