Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    OLD REGISTER ROAD — A woman said she believes someone used her identity to purchase gas.
    OLD POND LANE — A man said a woman with whom he broke up in September harassed him by phone, text, via social media and contacted potential business clients to talk them out of hiring him for painting services.
    WATER WHEEL WAY — A man reported a contractor stole a gun from his vehicle. Deputies questioned the suspect, who lives in Portal, and found the gun in his vehicle. The suspect said he only moved the gun for the complainant, although he placed it in his own vehicle. The gun was found in a plastic bag, covered in a blanket. The suspect was arrested.
    FIELD ROAD — A man reported the theft of a utility trailer.
    LAWRENCE CHURCH ROAD — A woman showed deputies a screen shot of where a man messaged her juvenile daughter via Facebook, asking whether she is a “good woman” and seeming to want to date her. The message was not vulgar or sexually explicit in nature. The mother messaged the offender to tell him not to contact her juvenile daughter again, and she deleted her daughter’ social media account.

Statesboro Police Department
    JAMES STREET — A man said someone entered his home and attacked him physically, damaging a clothes basket and a wall. HE didn’t want to press charges, but wanted compensation for damages. Officers gave him information about magistrate court procedures.
    LESTER ROAD — A man reported receiving harassing phone calls. In a separate incident, someone was arrested for disorderly conduct.
    VETERANS MEMORIAL PARKWAY/EAST MAIN STREET — A driver fled from a traffic stop, but warrants were issued for his arrest.
    STADIUM PLACE APARTMENTS — A woman told police an argument turned physical when another person punched her in the face. However, according to reports the offender “could not be identified at the time.”
    GEORGIA AVENUE — A person reported receiving harassing phone calls.
    ROBIN HOOD TRAIL — Police responded to a reported fight where both parties involved blamed the other.
    EAST MAIN STREET —  Officers arrested a person involved in a physical altercation in a parking lot.
Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued one traffic citation and one traffic warning and assisted three motorists.
    HANNER FIELDHOUSE — Someone reported a suspicious person.
