Statesboro Police Department
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A woman was arrested for shoplifting $93 worth of assorted items.
    In a separate incident, suspects left in a gray 2013 Toyota Camry after being caught trying to shoplift $660 worth of food, a $230 ring, another piece of jewelry valued at $230, and $84 in other property. All merchandise was recovered.
    SOUTH MAIN STREET — A man turned himself in after punching another man during a dispute.
    STATESBORO HIGH SCHOOL — A student was found to be in possession of a dangerous weapon, which was seized. The student was arrested.
    FAIR ROAD — A wallet, $20 and other items were taken from an unlocked car.
    LITTLE LOTS CREEK APARTMENTS — When a domestic dispute between a mother and juvenile became physical, the child was arrested. The juvenile was taken to the Bulloch County Jail, then the Department of Juvenile Justice turned the child back over to a family member.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    PECAN GROVE MOBILE HOME PARK — A woman said a man pushed her and pulled a gun on her, then gave the gun to another woman in another residence.  The other woman denied the man came to her house and gave her a gun. The victim was given information on a safe house.
    OLD FLAT FORD LANE — A woman said her kids were playing, climbing a tree across the street when a man came outside, yelled at them to get off his property, threatened to shoot and then fired a gun. The man said he was not aware they were children, that they were antagonizing his dogs and that he fired into a homemade burm.
    BUIE DRIGGERS ROAD — A man riding on his property found a severely burned vehicle. It was so badly burned, deputies could not get an identifying number from it.
    WOODLAKE TRAIL — A man said a woman harasses him by phone and slanders his name on social media.
    STILL QUARTERS ROAD — A man called 911 to state his brother had been shot. Then he said his brother was gone and he was going to get a knife, according to reports. Deputies arrived and the man said his brother was in a shed outside and had been stabbed in the stomach. The man was belligerent and appeared highly intoxicated. He was arrested for false report of a crime when deputies found the brother asleep and unharmed inside the home.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued seven traffic citations and 21 traffic warnings and assisted 10 motorists.
Georgia State Patrol Post 45
    Last week, troopers investigated 17 crashes with eight reported injuries, made five DUI arrests and issued the following; 13 speeding citations and 27 warnings and five seat belt warnings.
