Statesboro Police Arrests
    Abby Catherine Gerardo, 23, Noblin Summit Drive, Duluth – criminal trespass.
    Kernard Maurice Blount, 17, Johnson Street – driving while unlicensed, theft by receiving stolen property.

    Arrests made Thursday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

    Arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Statesboro Police Incidents
    HUNNICUTT DRIVE – A mother and her adult son argued over household chores.
    RUDE RUDY’S – An officer watched as a woman keyed a car. It was her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle, and he pressed charges. So she was arrested.
    24 EAST APARTMENTS – A woman reported the theft of $225 in change.
    COLLEGE WALK APARTMENTS – Officers responding to a report of shots fired spoke to several witnesses who said two men entered the apartment, fired shots and fled. No one was injured.
    MORRIS STREET — Police responding to a call about shots being fired found shell casings, but no suspects.
    BUTLER HOMES – A woman said jewelry was stolen from her purse.
PARKERS ENZONE _ Two men fled in a black SUV after stealing an M&M’s candy display with $75 worth of candy bars.
 
Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
    FARM MART – (Statesboro) Someone stole $413 from a cash register.
    SUNSHINE ROAD- (Ellabell) Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance involving someone pointing a gun at others.
    G.W. OLIVER ROAD – (Statesboro) A woman told deputies her landlord cutoff her water.

    Incidents occurring Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter Reports
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of March 1-7 .
Animals incoming:
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, rural areas – 13 dogs and four cats.
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, Statesboro city limits – four dogs.
    Surrendered by citizens - four dogs and nine cats.
    Number of animals in surrendered litters - four puppies.
Animals outgoing:
    Shelter adoptions – five dogs and three cats.
    Returned to owners – one dog.
    Euthanized from adoption floor – four cats.
    Euthanized from isolation – five dogs and 10 cats.
Officer activity:
    Three horse complaints in the Statesboro city limits.
    Court summons/citations - three.
    Warnings issued - 12.
Money collected:
    Adoption fees - $250.
    Surrender fees - $10.
    Returned animal fines - $25.
