Statesboro Police Incidents
KMART – Police responded to a call about a man hitting a woman, but both the man and woman involved said they were just arguing and no one was hit.
COLLEGE LANE – A woman hit another in the face, then knocked her down and kicked her, causing a bleeding laceration.
INSTITUTE STREET – A man reported the theft of a 12—gauge shotgun from his closet.
WALMART – Two women were arrested for stealing makeup, clothes and a butane can. Another two stole cosmetics and hair care products. Two juveniles stole makeup and clothes as well.
Also, a man said his wife’s ex—boyfriend’s father struck him. He said the whole family has been harassing him, and after police reviewed store video of the parking lot incident, another man was arrested.
DAVITA DIALYSIS – A woman reported $308 stolen from her purse.
BOLDRIDGE COURT – A man said his child’s step—grandfather threatened him with a knife when he went to visit the child.
GARDEN DISTRICT – A woman said her boyfriend gt mad when she asked him to show her how to operate the apartment heater. He threw her out of bed and pushed her down three times when she tried to get up. He threw a DVD player at her and stole her cell phone.
Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
ELLIS ROAD – (Statesboro) A man reported performing painting services and not being paid. He said he calls the business owner, but whoever answers hangs up on him.
T. E RUSHING CO. – (Statesboro) A woman said someone stole a ceramic heater.
ROZIER FORD – (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a gray 2010 F250 truck, computers and accessories.
STILSON—LEEFIELD ROAD – (Stilson) A man and woman argued after playing cards at a friend’s house. The woman told her husband she did not love him, she only loved herself. He later found text messages from a man, and other messages telling the man she did not love her husband any longer. This caused a fight, resulting in the husband suffering visible injuries.
TONY HICKS ROAD – (Portal) A man said he wanted his brother gone from his residence after the two argued.
LANDINGS PARKWAY – (Statesboro) Deputies investigated a reported burglary.
