Statesboro Police Arrests

Quentin D. Williams, 22, Miller Street – driving with a suspended license.

Charles Thomas Thompson, 52, Old River Road South, Brooklet – begging/soliciting.

Randolph Christopher Johnson, 21, Cayla Way – marijuana possession with intent to distribute, possession/use of a drug related object.

Sequavis Chavez Mikell, 20, Ramble Road – wanted person, – marijuana possession with intent to distribute, possession/use of a drug related object.

Craig Lavon Mincey Jr., 21, Rocky Ford Road, Portal - – marijuana possession with intent to distribute, possession/use of a drug related object.

Ravi Sheron Evans Jr., 19, Chandler Road - – marijuana possession with intent to distribute, possession/use of a drug related object.

Tonya Michelle Newman, 29, U.S> 80 east – theft by shoplifting.

 

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests

Tabitha Michelle Tillman, 29, Dyches Road, Brooklet – falsifying statements and concealing facts.

Brandon Taylor Garcia, 19, Tuscany Trail – first degree forgery, possession of steroids, marijuana possession.

Jakati Dontae Thomas, 35, Pulaski Highway, Register – aggravated assault, obstruction, disorderly conduct.

Alvin Davis III, 35, Old Happy Lane, Brooklet - probation violation.

 

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

Troopers reported the following activity between Friday and Monday:

DUI arrests –Sebastian Lopez Sanchez, 24, MLK Boulevard – DUI (refused test).

Garrett Stephen Smith, 19, Powder Springs – DUI under 21 (.066).

Spencer Michelle Dutton, 19, Ga. 46 – DUI under 21 (.052).

Thomas valene Bennett, 22, Sawgrass Trail – DUI (.177).

Madeleine grace Smith, 19, Rising Fawn  - DUI under 21 (.162).

Matthew Jay Meredith, 22, Kingsland – DUI (refused test).

Seatbelt citations – seven.

Child restraint citations  - one.

Speeding citations – 16.

Total citations –50.

Georgia Southern University Arrests

Officers issued five traffic citations Monday. 
Mykelti Kivongh Davis, 18, Georgia Avenue -  possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, underage possession/consumption of alcohol and crossing guard lines with drugs (entered the jail with drugs).

Statesboro Police Incidents

PIZZA HUT/BUCKHEAD PLAZA – A man said someone made two unauthorized charges on is debit card.

PARK PLACE APARTMENTS – A woman said someone stole an Xbox 360 and moved a hair straightener from one bathroom to another.

WILLOW BEND APARMENTS – A man said someone took a 9 mm pistol from his vehicle.

WEST MAIN STREET – A woman said someone used her identity to open accounts for cable, city utilities, electricity and phone services.

BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB – A school bus was damaged and a storage building was forced open.

CONE HOMES – A woman said someone used her identity to file 2009 income taxes.

WAFFLE HOUSE/NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST – Two men were soliciting and begging. One had been served a criminal trespass warning beforehand and was arrested.

EAGLES LADING APARTMENTS – After receiving a drug complaint, offices investigated, secured permission to check the apartment from the tenants, and arrested four on drug charges.

WAL-MART – A woman was arrested for shoplifting clothes, towels, toys, a cooker, frying pan and cooking utensils.

 

Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents

KYLE SORRELL ROAD – (Clito) A man and woman were arguing and somebody called the law, but neither could remember why they were fighting because they had both been drinking all night.

BRENDA ROAD – (Portal) A woman told deputies someone pulled a fence away from posts, allowing livestock to escape.

CASSIE REE ROAD – (Register) A man and woman said another subject drives past and takes photos of them while they are outside.

ROZIER FORD – (Statesboro) Someone damaged several vehicles by scratching the paint.

GA. 46 – (Brooklet) A man said a woman he knows used his identity to obtain several credit cards. She promised to pay the money back, but now his bank account is frozen due to the debt.

PAMELA WAY – (Statesboro) A woman said someone stole a silver necklace.

MILL BRANCH HUNTING CLUB – (Statesboro) A man reported a John Deere tractor stolen.

HENDRIX ROAD – (Statesboro) An air conditioner unit was stolen.

BLACK CREEK CHURCH ROAD – (Brooklet) A golf cart and lawn mower were stolen.

R. E. LEE ROAD – (Pembroke) A man reported the theft of an Ac unit and cordless drill.

TEAL CIRCLE – (Statesboro) A man and woman argued and he chased her with a mop. She cut him, she told deputies. The woman was arrested and the man’s injuries were slight.

MOORE CIRCLE – (Statesboro) A woman said her husband broke a TV and DVD player during an altercation.

Crashes investigated – nine.

Fatalities reported – none.

Seatbelt warnings – 12.

Child restraint warnings – none.  

Speeding warnings –nine.

Total warnings issued – 60.

Wanted persons apprehended – none.

Stolen vehicles recovered – none.

Road checks performed – eight.

Motorists assisted – none.

Miles patrolled – 1.379.

 

Georgia Southern University Incidents

Officers issued five traffic warnings, assisted seven motorists, assisted one sick person, responded to a drug complaint at University Villas, responded to a drug complaint at Centennial Place and investigated one accident Monday.
RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER - A book bag was reported stolen.

EAGLE VILLAGE – Someone reported a vehicle damaged.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Department- 18 calls.

Statesboro Police Department- 27 calls.

University Police Department – two calls.

Georgia State Patrol –three calls.

Candler County Sheriff's Department – three calls.

Claxton Police Department – no calls.

Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Monday:

Statesboro Fire Department –five calls.

Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters -eight calls.

Metter Fire Department – three calls.

Claxton Rescue – four calls.

Hagan Fire Department – two calls.

Bellville Fire Department – two calls.

Daisy Fire department – one call.

 

911 EMS Reports

Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Monday:

Bulloch County EMS –three accident calls, two fire calls and 14 medical calls.

Candler County EMS – one fire call and three medical calls.

Evans County EMS – no medical calls.

Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls  Monday: three calls to Georgia Forestry; four calls to Bulloch County First Responders; four miscellaneous calls; one call to Bulloch County Humane Enforcement; and a call to the Bulloch County Correctional Institute.
