▲ During the week of July 22-28, firefighters responded to 24 calls, including the following:  a cooking fire with light damage at Lanier Drive; a dryer fire on Rowton Way with slight damage to laundry room and damage to dryer; and heavy smoke and fire damage but no injuries at a Johnson Street home.

▲ Also, a vehicle fire, an electrical issue and a miscellaneous fire call; nine fire alarms; one car crash; one EMS assist; and seven public relations events (one smoke detector check, two fire station tours, two show and tells, Jumpshot Back to School Bash and the Statesboro Public Library Block Party.)

▲ Between July 25 — Aug. 2, firefighters responded to the following calls:
