A woman said prepaid cell phone credits on her account were used, but not by her. The amount she was supposed to have was around $178 but she received a text stating she only had 10 cents on her prepaid phone.

▲ SEE PINES APARTMENTS — A woman found a black lock box containing several drug-related objects left behind by a former tenant. She turned them over to deputies for disposal.

▲ PECAN GROVE CIRCLE — Two male cousins engaged in a physical dispute. Both were given information in taking warrants.

▲ STAMBUK LANE — Officers responded to a dispute between roommates over living conditions.

▲ SOUTH MAIN STREET — A man was arrested for stealing cash from an air machine after he tampered with it.

▲ JEWEL DRIVE — A man reported a golf cart stolen from his back yard.

▲ RUCKER LANE — On two separate occasions, victims reported cases of entering auto.

▲ SIMMONS ROAD — A woman reported the theft of a  tricycle.

▲ EAST JONES AVENUE — Warrants were issued for the arrest of a person involved in a battery/family violence situation.

▲ PACKINGHOUSE ROAD — Someone reported the theft of a vehicle, along with a wallet and contents inside the car.

▲ LITTLE LOTTS CREEK APARTMENTS — A man said he was jumped on by a gang of males he did not know.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued two traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted two motorists Thursday. 

▲ FOREST DRIVE/PEDESTRIUM — Someone reported a suspicious person.

▲ FREEDOM’S LANDING — A person was judicially referred to university authorities for discipline over a drug complaint. There were no criminal charges.

▲ C/E/J LOT — Someone was judicially referred for use of a fraudulent ID and alcohol violation. No criminal charges were made.

▲ EAGLE VILLAGE — A man was charged with public intoxication.
