▲ WINDMERE DRIVE — Investigators responded to a reported child molestation. The case remains under investigation.

▲ BULL CREEK CHURCH ROAD — Deputies responded to a domestic dispute that appeared to be only verbal.

▲ Between Aug.15-23, firefighters responded to the following calls:

▲ Portal — three alarm calls. 

▲ Register — one alarm call, one vehicle fire.

▲ Brooklet — one alarm call, one brush/grass fire, three agency assists with Statesboro Fire on structure fires.

▲ Between Aug. 10-16, officers responded to one theft by taking; one stolen auto report and one lost or stolen tag. Officers also issued two speeding tickets and one for unlawful use of a wireless device.

➤ Portal Police Department

▲ Aug. 10-16, officers responded to 10 calls for service, issued eight traffic citations and 11 warnings; assisted four motorists and performed various business and school safety checks.

▲ SIMMONS STREET — Officers were called about two juveniles left alone on a porch. They were turned over to parents.

▲ NORTH LEWIS STREET — A man and woman were arrested after officers responded to a physical dispute.

▲ EAST LILLIAN STREET — Someone reported harassing communications.

▲ TERRELL STREET — Offices responded to a report of harassing communications.

▲ BAY STREET — Someone reported a criminal trespass case.
