The man, a neighbor, said he thought she had already vacated the residence and he was checking, because usually people leave the keys on the counter when they move out. The woman apparently told deputies items were missing because they asked the man if they could check his apartment for items the woman said had been stolen. The search revealed none of the stolen items in the man’s apartment. Deputies warned the woman to lock her doors when she left her home.

▲ MUD ROAD — A man saw someone trying to steal a pressure washer from his neighbor’s residence. The complainant said the offender was a black male wearing a red zip-up hoodie, and he was with a woman. The car was backed up against the home when the complainant saw it,  but the suspicious man slammed the trunk and left when he was spotted.
