A woman reported receiving separate phone calls from two of her friends, whom she did not identify, stating that a woman, whom she named, had sent them a video secretly taken of the complainant while she was changing clothes.

▲ Marcus Daniel Cross, 40, Deerfield Way, Pottstown, Pennsylvania — DUI (less safe/alcohol), hit-and-run (failure to stop at or return to accident scene), unsafe or improperly equipped vehicle, failure to maintain lane.

INCIDENTS

➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ GENTILLY ROAD — A pickup truck was broken into Thursday, and its owner reported items valued at $660 stolen, including a $400 Visconti pen, a $200 electronic communications device, a wallet or purse and other things.

▲ BACK-TO-COLLEGE TRAFFIC — Statesboro police responded to nine reported traffic accidents Friday, seven Saturday and another seven Sunday.

▲ LESTER ROAD — Police responded to a report Friday evening of a group of people fighting in the Statesboro High School parking lot. The group left before officers arrived, but police later located a possible victim, who reportedly refused to cooperate.

▲ STATESBORO PLACE CIRCLE — Responding to a noise complaint at an apartment complex, police found someone in possession of a small amount of marijuana. The individual was cited and released under the city ordinance.

▲ SHERIFF’S OFFICE LOBBY — A woman reported receiving separate phone calls from two of her friends, whom she did not identify, stating that a woman, whom she named, had sent them a video secretly taken of the complainant while she was changing clothes. The complainant said she had not seen the video.

▲ ERIN WAY — A man reported that a heat pump had been stolen from outside a residence that he owns.

▲ HIGHTOWER ROAD — A deputy responding to a report of a possible fight arrested a man for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

➤ Georgia Southern University Police 

▲ Friday through Sunday, officers issued 21 traffic citations and 10 traffic warnings and assisted 11 motorists.

▲ HERRING PAVILION — An injury was reported Friday morning.

▲ RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER — A motor vehicle accident was reported in the parking area.

▲ SOUTHERN COURTYARD — An arrest for misdemeanor (less than 1 ounce) marijuana possession was reported.

▲ PAULSON STADIUM — A suspicious person or activity report was logged, and the case reported as “closed,” just after 8 p.m. Friday.

▲ DELTA CHI HOUSE — University police and the Statesboro Fire Department responded to a fire alarm around 9:20 p.m. Friday.
