Police report, 8/16/19
A person reported the theft of a Great Dane puppy that was let outside to use the bathroom. The complainant suspected a delivery driver who had just left a package before they discovered the puppy gone.

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office 

▲ BILLY MIKELL ROAD — A woman said she and her husband separated due to infidelity on her part, and when he visits the children, he becomes irate and starts arguments. She said he tried to choke her, and has people stalking her.

▲ MILLER STREET — Two men argued over a transmission jack that one man’s family borrowed, and the other man wanted the jack back because it was his father’s. The one with the jack said the other man’s father owed him some money, and he was keeping the jack for the $150 owed. Deputies referred the civil matter to magistrate court.

▲ O.C. BANKS ROAD — A person reported the theft of a Great Dane puppy that was let outside to use the bathroom. The complainant suspected a delivery driver who had just left a package before they discovered the puppy gone.

▲ PACKINGHOUSE ROAD — A man suffered a cut to his pinky finger and a shallow puncture wound to his shoulder during a struggle with another person with a knife, but he refused to press charges when police investigated the incident.

▲ SOUTH MULBERRY STREET — Officers responded to a domestic dispute that was verbal. The parties agreed to separate for a time.

▲ NORTHLAKE DRIVE — A juvenile was arrested on simple battery charges following a family disturbance.
