INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff's Office

RIGGS CIRCLE - A woman said neighbors call animal control to complain about stray cats that are not hers, the Sheriff's Office to complain about noise that doesn't exist (no parties or loud activities) and the Department of Family and Children Services about her kids. She said all complaints are false and harassment.
BUIE CIRCLE - A man reported a four-wheeler missing.
CROSS CREEK FARM ROAD - A woman reported a computer software scam and said a man continued to call her until she switched off her phone.
HIGHWAY 67 - A man reported a utility shed was broken into and two undisclosed items were taken.
FERNWOOD DRIVE - A man told deputies he was attacked by two men with a pole, who threatened to kill him. The man showed no visible injuries, reports stated.
BROOKLET-LEEFIELD ROAD - A man told deputies a woman stole a table and chairs from his home. She agreed to return them, but she fears him because of his threats and harassing calls.
MARTIN SWINSON ROAD - Investigators opened a case regarding a reported rape and simple battery incident after being called to the Effingham County hospital regarding the incident.
GEORGE ROAD - Two brothers argued over family property. One threatened the other with harm.
CHAPEL ROAD - A man and woman argued, then the situation became heated. The woman said the man grabbed her, hit her with a pizza and tried taking her baby. The man was arrested on simple battery charges.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued two traffic citations and 12 traffic warnings and assisted eight motorists.
UNIVERSITY STORE - Police responded to a call about a suspicious person.
SOUTHERN COURTYARD - Someone reported a suspicious person.

On Aug. 7-13, troopers investigated 25 crashes with 14 reports injuries and arrested two for DUI. They also issued six citations and three warnings for seatbelt violations, four citations for child restraint violations, and 16 citations and 12 warnings for speeding.
