A resident reported someone entered an unlocked car and stole an Apple Macbook Pro laptop computer, Air Pods, an Under Armor bag, and personal ID and debit cards.

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ ZELL MILLER PARKWAY — A man reported receiving five messages with vulgar content and a link, on which he did not clock.  He blocked each message as it appeared, but they kept coming from different numbers, he said.

▲ COURTNEY WAY — A man reported his mailbox was knocked over.

▲ RANDY LOWERY ROAD — A deputy stopped to investigate two vehicles parked alongside the road. The stop led to the arrest of one driver on marijuana and methamphetamine charges.

▲ JOINER ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME — A man who was transported by deputies to attend a funeral (since he was incarcerated at the time) was caught with a “rolled” cigarette and lighter in his shoe. He said his brother gave it to him. Reports did not specify whether the rolled cigarette container tobacco or marijuana. The inmate was taken back to the Bulloch County Jail and warrants for his arrest, as well as that of his brother, were to be issued on charges of crossing state/county guard lines with contraband.

▲ COWBOY WAY — Deputies responded to a reported domestic dispute between a mother and son.

➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ SOUTH COLLEGE STREET — Someone reported the theft of $300.

▲ LESTER ROAD CONDOMINIUMS — A man dressed in scrubs, going door to door, was reported as suspicious. Police contacted him and asked him to stop doing what he was doing; reports did not list his reasons for going door to door.

▲ WEST JONES AVENUE — A physical fight between siblings ended in injury. Officers are investigating but did not arrest anyone at the time.

▲ RUCKER LANE — A resident reported someone entered an unlocked car and stole an Apple Macbook Pro laptop computer, Air Pods, an Under Armor bag, and personal ID and debit cards.
