▲ ELDORA ROAD — A woman said her ex-fiance harassed her by calling and threatening that she “had payback coming” because she did not return her engagement rings. The woman told deputies she had returned the rings, but the man said she was “lying.”

▲ HAYES LAKE ROAD — A mother and daughter became involved in an argument because the daughter called 911. The reason the daughter did so was “she was out of cigarettes” and the mother was angry that she called 911 for that reason. The daughter claimed the dispute was physical but the mother denied it. The mother also told deputies the younger woman was a heavy methamphetamine user and was awaiting placement in a treatment program. Deputies noted in reports that they had been to the residence before on a similar call.

▲ ALLISON LANE — Deputies performed a welfare check on a woman whose nurse reported she appeared thin and malnourished, and had been involved in domestic disputes. The woman admitted not eating much due to stomach issues and because her live-in boyfriend wanted her to “buy all the food.” That was one of many issues they argued about, including money, she said. Both she and the alleged offender denied the disputes were physical.

▲ INSTITUTE STREET — Someone reported a case of theft of services.

▲ DOLLAR TREE/NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST — A woman said she either lost or someone stole a $100 bill that was in her phone wallet.

In a separate case, someone reported a simple assault incident. No one was arrested, and the complainant was given information on seeking warrants.

▲ O’NEAL DRIVE — A man called police to report suspicious activity. He said a person he knew was parked in his neighbor’s driveway.

▲ BROAD STREET — A woman said she saw someone in her yard, and that person took a bicycle valued at $89 when they left.
