Police Report - 7-31-14; A man ripped a teddy bear he had given a woman when he found her with a man

    Diana Taylor, 29, Northside Apartments — suspended license, child seat belt violation, adult seat belt violation.

    BAYMONT INN — Police and EMS responded around 3 a.m. Wednesday to the report of a heavily intoxicated woman who had locked both herself and another woman out of a room. Police found a small amount of marijuana, which was seized for destruction, and the woman denied treatment.
    TILLMAN, BRANNEN & MINICK — A man and woman stole a pair of Georgia boots, valued at $80, around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. The store owner contacted the man by phone, and he confessed to the theft. The owner was advised of magistrate procedures if he wishes to prosecute.
    GEORGIA VILLAS — A man ripped a teddy bear he had given a woman after finding her with another man around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
    EAGLE INN — A woman called police Tuesday around 11:30 p.m. because two men were “knocking in doors asking for sexual favors,” reports stated. The man she pointed out told police he was seeking a place to stay overnight but had decided he didn’t like the area. The second man was not found.

    Antonio Jerome Parks, 30, Johnson Street — sale of cocaine, unlawful use of communications facilities, marijuana possession.
    Rayman Leon Cribb, 33, LJ Road, Claxton — probation violation.

    GEORGE ROAD — (Brooklet) Around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, deputies and EMS responded to the report of a 3-year-old possibly drowning. The mother was weed-whacking while several children and relatives were swimming in a pond. The children began screaming when the victim was seen floating on her back. At first she was unresponsive, but coughed up some water and then told witnesses she was tired and sore. She was taken to the hospital for observation.

    None reported Tuesday.

    Officers issued one traffic citation and assisted two motorists Tuesday.
