A man “went into a rage” and threatened his wife, then left. He returned, having been drinking, and she locked him out of the house, she told deputies.

▲ SILK LANE — A deputy met with a complainant at Enmarket in Portal regarding a domestic dispute at a Silk Lane address. The complainant was given information on seeking warrants.

▲ OLD RIVER ROAD NORTH — A couple discovered several transactions on their debit/credit card that were made in their son-in-law’s name. The offender had no permission or right to make the transactions, they said. He had never been given access to the account, but had stayed in their home for a period of time where he could have accessed their debit card information.

▲ ALLEN CIRCLE — A man “went into a rage” and threatened his wife, then left. He returned, having been drinking, and she locked him out of the house, she told deputies.

▲ HAMPSTEAD AVENUE — A woman told deputies her ex-wife harassed her by social media and hacked her cell phone, as well as sent several harassing emails and texts.

▲ PORTAL CROSSING LOOP — A man sold his truck via an online service, “Let Go,” and the buyer overpaid by check. The buyer asked him to cash the check and send back the difference. The bank cashed the check, then later told the complainant, who was a victim of a scam, that he needed to pay the amount back to the bank.

▲ RALEIGH COURT — Two women asked for a welfare check regarding a juvenile who had bruises due to being spanked. The case was referred to social caseworkers.

▲ JOYCE STREET — A man called police to report his neighbor drove through his yard on a lawn mower, “messing up the grass.”

▲ MARKET 100 — A person, who had been served with a criminal trespass warning before, returned to the apartment complex and was arrested.

▲ BELK — A person who shoplifted a $60 cubic zirconia ring and a $20 pair of cubic zirconia earrings was served with a criminal trespass warning, cited for shoplifting and released.

▲ MADISON MEADOWS — A victim of alleged battery declined to prosecute the offender after someone called police.
