▲ CYPRESS LAKE ROAD — Deputies assisted Register police with a report of an unwanted person.

▲ HIGHWAY 80 — Warrants were issued for the arrest of a man on simple battery charges.

▲ LEE AVENUE — Someone tried to charge a woman’s bank account for $1,873 to “Ally Ally.” The victim said she believes a woman tried to use her account to make a car payment for the suspect’s son, who is incarcerated. The victim dated the son and was living in his home. She said the car payment is only $600. When deputies questioned the suspect, she denied knowledge of the incident. The attempted payment did not go through anyway, due to insufficient funds.

▲ MY COUSIN VINNY’S — A man reported the theft of two aluminum tow dollies.

▲ SURREY LANE — A woman reported several jewelry items stolen.

▲ LEEFIELD STATION ROAD — A woman received a call from someone claiming she was being investigated for identity fraud. They asked for her Social Security number, which she did not give, but they settled for the last four digits. Then they wanted $500 to complete paperwork. The woman ended the call.

▲ BIRD LANE — A woman said her ex -husband harassed her by phone over visitation rights.

▲ LILLA MEYERS ROAD — Deputies responded to a fight between two juveniles.

▲ WOODSHOLE CIRCLE — A man and woman said their granddaughter transferred a total of $2,100 from their bank account without permission or authorization.

▲ INTERSTATE 16/EXIT 137 —A woman said someone stole engine parts and a battery from her car, left on the interstate due to mechanical breakdown.

▲ ROCK EAGLE 4-H CAMP — A deputy who accompanied students on a 4-H camp trip reported seeing a “disruptive” juvenile who was removed from an activity by a camp volunteer.

➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ BELK — Someone was cited for shoplifting $30 worth of clothes.

▲ WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A shoplifting suspect who took $45 worth of clothing ran from police, but officers are still seeking the offender.

▲ INSTITUTE STREET — A woman said someone struck her during an argument. She was given advice on seeking warrants.

▲ NORTH MAIN STREET — A man said he was in his vehicle when another person walked up and struck him in the neck.

▲ FAIR ROAD — Victims reported being in a dispute with someone who later harassed them by phone.

▲ JEWEL DRIVE — A woman said someone she knows threatened her. Police learned the person also had outstanding warrants and arrested the offender on simple assault charges as well.
