Police Report, 6-5-15: A caller reported that a male jumped out of a bus.

STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests/citations

Larry William Donaldson, 65, Cecil Martin Road, Nevils - public intoxication.

Incidents
PARKER APARTMENTS/SOUTH MAIN STREET - Someone broke in Monday and took a computer monitor, an Xbox 360 and related games and accessories, a laptop computer and some shorts.
WEST KENNEDY STREET - A woman reported someone broke into her car and stole an IKEA gift card worth $1,000, a coin purse with assorted coins and several other gift cards totaling $100 in value.
BULLOCH COUNTY COURTHOUSE - A man who was "loud and boisterous" as he waited for court to begin was arrested on a public intoxication charge.

Arrests/citations

Karen Grant Smith, 51, Hardwood Street - criminal trespass.
Waltavian Leon-Tay Taylor, 28, Brockett Way, Clarkston - two counts felony bench warrant.

Incidents
PAWN CITY/HIGHWAY 67 - A warrant was taken out via magistrate court regarding a woman who pawned a laptop computer she had rented from Pawn City.
BIRD ROAD - A power meter was damaged, and a tenant obtained power without paying.
OLD POND LANE - A man reported seeing someone, possibly with a flashlight, enter his barn at night. Nothing was reported stolen.
HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH/HIGHWAY 46 - A caller reported that a male jumped out of a bus. Deputies located the male, who is mentally challenged, and learned that he is afraid of thunderstorms, which was why he left the bus. (The incident occurred during a storm.)
LAWRENCE CHURCH ROAD - A woman reported a man stole her black-and-white basset hound. The man she accused told deputies he did not steal the dog, but it was underneath his truck at a construction site, and he ran over it by accident. He offered to show the owner where it was buried and said he had experienced difficulty contacting her.
OLD RIVER ROAD SOUTH - A man reported a .22 caliber pistol on a .38 caliber frame stolen.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
Arrests/citations

Officers issued five traffic violation citations Wednesday.
Tyler Hannaford, 21, Ironhill Way, Woodstock - obstruction, public indecency.
Trecorwei Malik Jammison, 18, Rucker Lane - underage possession of alcohol, seat belt violation.
Lamar Lundy Jr., 23, Whispering Pines Boulevard - DUI.
Keegan Matthew Marks, 21, Stambuk Lane - possession of a drug-related object.
Jesse Raymond Struthers, 22, Mike-Ann Drive - possession of marijuana, possession of a drug-related object.

Incidents
Officers issued two traffic warnings Wednesday.
CHANDLER ROAD - An officer saw a man urinating on a bush, with his genitals exposed. When he tried to stop the man, the offender fled. After being captured, officers asked the offender why he was urinating publicly, to which he replied, "My friends told me to do it." When asked why he ran, the answer was the same: "My friends told me to do it." He was arrested for public indecency and obstruction.
In a separate incident, officers spotted a woman lying on the ground, shoeless, rubbing her hands in the dirt. She was uttering something unintelligible, and when officers asked her to get up, she cried, "Stop! Stop!" and said she wanted to lie there. She told police her date of birth was in 1884, then 1993, and that she was both 18 and 23. She had a blood alcohol level of over .200 and vomited on herself on the way to the police department. EMS transported her to the hospital.
CHANDLER ROAD/GEORGIA AVENUE - Police saw a man hanging out of a car window from his waist up, "striking a pose." He told officers he was just "getting some air and goofing off," but both he and the driver smelled of alcohol and were found to be under the influence of alcohol. Both were arrested.
