Incidents
THE CONNECTION - A woman reported $400 stolen from her apartment.
In a separate case with different people involved, a woman reported a roommate took food from the apartment's refrigerator without permission. The roommate said the food had spoiled but agreed to replace some of it.
EAGLE HEALTH AND REHAB - A woman told police a distant relative was harassing her mother, who had just been admitted to the home. Police advised her to seek a protective order from magistrate court.
FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS - A woman said a man pushed her down and broke her cellphone.
MORRIS HEIGHTS APARTMENTS - A woman said someone threatened her with harm.
KNIGHT'S INN - A man found stumbling around the parking lot, yelling obscenities, was arrested for public intoxication.
ELK'S LODGE - A woman told police an unknown "middle aged ... woman" took off her shoe and struck her in the forehead, leaving a dime-sized mark. She said she didn't know the other woman but that she seemed angry.
BRAMPTON AVENUE - A man reported a single gunshot heard in the area around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - A woman shoplifted sandals and clothing Saturday by hiding them in a purse.
Another woman in a separate incident was arrested for swapping tags on baby bibs, blankets, shirts and a woman's blouse.
In a third incident, two women were caught stealing shredded cheese, ice cream, candy, chicken, jam and other foods. They were not charged or arrested.
PEACHTREE STREET - A man was arrested for aggravated assault, but no details were included in reports except that a knife or cutting tool was used. The case is being referred to the district attorney's office for prosecution.
FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS - A woman told police someone threatened her with harm while she was walking.
NORTH FOSS STREET - An elderly man told police he found an unknown woman in his carport, and she asked for a ride to Savannah. He told her he could help her when he got back home, and he left. When he returned, she was gone, but she left behind clothes and books.
