▲ COACHES WAY — A man was arrested after “flipping” another man’s mattress, then damaging his bedroom door and door frame during an argument.

▲ PLANTER’S ROW — Someone reported two men fishing in a pond without permission. One of the offenders was wanted for failure to appear in Chatham County and was arrested.

▲ HIGHWAY 80 EAST — A man said the door to his mother’s residence was kicked in, and she was away. He suspected his children’s mother of the deed, he said.

▲ RUCKER LANE — Someone told police they saw a person break a window.

▲ STATESBORO PLACE CIRCLE — A man reported a tire damaged.

▲ SOUTH WALNUT STREET — Someone reported a handgun stolen from a vehicle.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — Someone reported damage to a vehicle.

▲ JOHNSON STREET — A woman said her juvenile child left home without permission because the mother told the child she did not like her haircut.

▲ NASSAU DRIVE — Police responded to a reported domestic dispute.

▲ CHANDLER ROAD — A woman said she was attacked by an unknown female in a parking lot at Renaissance Apartments. Police did not locate the offender.

▲ WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A juvenile who attempted to shoplift $377 worth of clothing was detained and turned over to her mother after the items were recovered.

▲ GATA DRIVE — A man told police he met two individuals to buy drugs, but the two walked him down the road and then pulled a gun, robbing him of cash and his cell phone.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — A woman met police at the emergency room and said a man choked her.

▲ Officers issued no traffic citations and two traffic warnings and assisted five motorists. 

▲ SOUTHERN PINES — Police are investigating a reported theft.
