A man said six males jumped out of a vehicle and beat him, causing visible injuries.

▲ Blake Alexander Kochling, 27, West Willowick Drive, Grovetown — felony probation violation, obstruction.

INCIDENTS

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ MORRIS STREET — A woman came in to the sheriff’s office to report receiving harassing phone calls in which a male threatened her with bodily harm.

▲ COWBOY WAY — A man said his adult son, angry because he would not give him money for a tire, ripped a satellite dish off the house. The son left on a motorcycle before deputies arrived.

▲ HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH — A man said someone took a grease gun from his truck tailgate.

▲ KENNEDY BRIDGE/WIGFALL ROADS — Deputies responded to a reported assault and found a man lying on the ground near a ditch. He said several men assaulted him as he walked, and he did not know why or who they were. He was bleeding profusely from a head wound, and after being treated by EMS, went to the hospital in a private vehicle.

▲ BAYGALL ROAD — A woman said a man entered her home through an unlocked door and came into her bedroom, then went outside and stood in the yard with a knife. The man was gone when deputies arrived. The woman said her boyfriend took him to Garfield, where he lived. She told deputies she wanted a report filed and did not want the man back at her home.

▲ RAY HOWELL LANE — A mother and daughter argued over the mother picking up a grandchild from daycare without telling the parents.

▲ OAK HILL MOBILE HOME PARK — A woman told deputies her boyfriend beat her, accused her of cheating and took the phone when she tried to call 911.  She said she just “let him beat her” because when she fought back he “just hit harder.” She said she feared for her life. Deputies advised her of seeking warrants, a protective order and other resources.


➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ QUAIL RUN DRIVE — Deputies arrested a juvenile for striking his grandmother, threatening her with great bodily harm and acting in a violent manner.

▲ NORTH MAIN STREET — A man said his former employer approached him and threatened him. He said the offender has also made threats by phone.

▲ HARVEY DRIVE — While responding to a domestic dispute between siblings over a broken TV and necklace, one offender was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — A juvenile was charged with driving while unlicensed after taking a parent’s car to the store without permission.

In a separate call, a woman accused an ex-boyfriend of grabbing her and ripping her shirt, but the man and a witness said there was no physical contact between the two.

In a different call, a woman said her sister threatened to beat her up.

In yet another call, police issued warrants for a person on charges of battery and theft.

▲ STAMBUK LANE — A woman said she was attacked in front of her house, but did not see who did it.

▲ OLYMPIC BOULEVARD — A man said six males jumped out of a vehicle and beat him, causing visible injuries.

▲ Officers issued three traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted one motorist Thursday.
