Police report, 5/23/19
A transport service driver reported the theft of a money bag stolen from his vehicle by an unknown passenger to whom he gave a ride to the Statesboro library.

▲ HIGHWAY 80 EAST/ARCOLA ROAD — A transport service driver reported the theft of a money bag stolen from his vehicle by an unknown passenger to whom he gave a ride to the Statesboro library.

▲ FRIENDSHIP CHURCH ROAD — A woman was arrested on battery charges.

▲ STILLWATER ROAD — A woman saw someone standing near her vehicle, appearing to be trying to break into it.

▲ VALLEY ROAD — Officers mediated in a domestic dispute.

▲ SOUTH MAIN STREET — Someone reported the theft of a vehicle part valued at $100.

▲ ROBIN HOOD TRAIL — A man said a motorcycle rider struck the complainant’s car with his foot.

▲ PACKINGHOUSE ROAD — Someone reported receiving harassing phone calls.

▲ GORDON STREET — A man said a woman punched him in the eye.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — Warrants were issued for the arrest of a woman who reportedly struck another, causing bruising, during an altercation.

▲ FAIR ROAD — A person suspected to have been involved in a battery incident was arrested while trying to leave the scene in a vehicle. The person also had an active warrant for other crimes.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued five traffic citations and four traffic warnings and assisted no motorists Tuesday.
