➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ SHERIFF’S OFFICE LOBBY — A man reported suspected financial transaction card forgery involving a woman who been given access to his bank account for about three years. They told the investigating deputy conflicting things about whether the man had given the woman access to use his credit card as well, and the woman stated that they had been in a romantic relationship.

▲ BURKHALTER MOBILE HOME PARK — A resident reported Friday that someone set the steps of his home on fire during the night. He had been grilling earlier and thought the grill was out when he went in for the night, the resident told a deputy, who asked about that and took pictures of “burnt wood” on steps and railing.

▲ GATEWAY BOULEVARD — A manager at Great Dane reported the theft of an item from the plant, with the serial number, make and model of the item, which sheriff’s officers found at a local pawn shop and returned to Great Dane. Arrest warrants were obtained for the person who pawned the item.

▲ WOODYARD ROAD — A man reported that a pressure washer and chainsaw were missing from his shop.


➤ Statesboro Police Department 

▲ PEG WEN BOULEVARD — A theft of motor vehicle parts valued at $300 was reported at a residence Thursday.

▲ HENRY BOULEVARD — A theft of a tamping machine valued at $3,000 was reported at the Aldi store construction site.

▲ JOHNSON STREET — A woman reported that a man broke her vehicle window and pointed a gun at her in a criminal trespass and aggravated stalking incident.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — A forced-entry burglary of a residence was reported Friday in which a Sig Sauer handgun valued at $750, Beats headphones valued at $200 and about $20 cash were stolen.


➤ Georgia State Patrol Post 45

▲ Last week, troopers responded to 16 crashes in Bulloch County with seven reported injuries.

▲ Troopers also arrested seven drivers on DUI charges and issued seven citations and four warnings for seatbelt violations and 17 citations and 40 warnings for speeding.

 

➤ Georgia Southern University Police 

▲ Officers assisted four motorists and issued no traffic citations or warnings.

▲ AGENCY ASSISTS — University officers assisted the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office with a call Saturday on Cypress Lake Road and assisted the Statesboro Police Department with calls Sunday on Lanier Drive and Zetterower Avenue.

▲ LOT 33 — A domestic dispute was reported at this location Saturday.

▲ RECREATION ACTIVITIES CENTER PARKING — A domestic dispute involving simple battery was reported Saturday. No arrest was noted.

▲ RECREATION ACTIVITIES CENTER — A fight or verbal altercation was reported Sunday.
