Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
LANGSTON CHAPEL MIDDLE SCHOOL — An administrator found a knife in a student’s possession after other students notified authorities. The girl said she wore the jacket to school and found the knife, got scared, and hid it in her sleeve. The girl’s mother recognized he small knife, with a blade of just over two inches, as her husband’s. The child was disciplined by the school.
COTTON TOP ROAD — A man reported a burglary in which someone stole three 12 gauge shotguns, a TV and two beige fireproof safes.
BRANNEN ROAD — Deputies responded to a dispute between a man and woman involving a battery incident.
PAMELA WAY — A woman told deputies he neighbor smoked marijuana outside his home, sold pirated movies and music from the trunk of his car and had several aggressive dogs that have attacked people in the neighborhood.
PERSIMMON PLACE — A man reported a burglary, stating items (unlisted n reports) were stolen from his shed.
JONES MILL ROAD — A man said another man has been sending him threatening messages via Facebook Messenger, saying he intended to cause the victim harm.
Statesboro Police Department
STATESBORO HIGH SCHOOL — Two juveniles were arrested for disrupting school.
BERMUDA RUN ROAD — A person was arrested for breaking a window.
Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued no traffic citations and two traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.
IT BUILDING — Police investigated a reported theft.
