➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ METTS ROAD — A woman called deputies with a claim that a man slapped her out of her chair. When deputies arrived, they found her on the floor, with her glasses still on her face, about 5 to 10 feet from the chair, with no visible injuries. The man she accused denied touching her and said she seems to be experiencing dementia and has been accusing him of physical assault for some time.

▲ BLACK CREEK CHURCH ROAD — Deputies were dispatched to a reported fight, but people involved said the matter had been resolved and no law enforcement was needed.

▲ MARTIN ROAD — A man said there was a box of screws dumped in a driveway. He said he suspected a man he listed by name as doing it intentionally.

▲ HIGHWAY 119 CONNECTOR — Deputies responded to a domestic dispute that was solved with mediation and separation.

▲ LOTTS CREEK ROAD — A man called deputies to report a domestic dispute. He said a woman involved was in a camper in his back yard, but deputies did not find the offender because the man did not have a key to the camper. Deputies noted a shattered glass window and door, and the woman's wallet was found at the man's home, indicating she had indeed been there.

▲ PONDEROSA ROAD — A man said twice, he has found his Jeep without oil and suspects it was intentionally removed. There was no sign of oil leaks or of tampering.

▲ HARVILLE ROAD — A man was arrested after someone reported he damaged some doors.

▲ COWBOY WAY — Someone reported a residential burglary. Reports did not list items allegedly taken.

▲ BURKHALTER ROAD — A woman answered an online ad for a company called Concentrix, allegedly from Greenville, South Carolina. A woman spoke to the complainant and demanded she buy a $300 gift card and wanted her personal information. When the complainant declined to be involved, the offender texted her in an angry, harassing manner, she said.

▲ MARTIN SWINSON ROAD — A couple involved in a simple battery case was given information on seeking warrants.

▲ ELDORA ROAD — A woman said a man choked her and punched a hole in a wall. No one was arrested at the time.

▲ GEORGE ROAD — A woman reported seeing several suspicious vehicles at her neighbor’s home when the neighbor was out of town.

▲ SEAGULL LANE — A woman told deputies her landlord refused to accept her rent and water bill payment and turned off her water. The man denied not accepting the payments and said she had not tried to pay. The woman called back and told deputies the landlord then called her, angry and speaking in a nasty tone, refusing the payments unless she paid a $65 late fee. She said she didn’t feel she owed a late fee since she tried to pay the bills on time and he refused payment.


➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ STAMBUK LANE — Warrants were issued for a person regarding a criminal trespass charge.

▲ JOHNSON STREET — Police informed a person about how to seek warrants after responding to a report of physical violence.

▲ CHANDLER ROAD — Police responded to a report of someone complaining of terroristic threats and acts.

▲ STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT — Operation Medicine Drop, a program through which citizens can bring expired, unwanted or obsolete medications for proper disposal, resulted in a recent collection of 35 pounds of prescription and other medications.

▲ CHANDLER HEIGHTS APARTMENTS — Police responded to a domestic dispute, and parties involved agreed to separate for the night.

▲ GEORGIA AVENUE — Someone reported receiving a call that included threats.

▲ WILTON DRIVE —A woman called police when her son refused to calm down and stop yelling at his father during a dispute.

▲ CHANDLER ROAD — An anonymous person reported a domestic dispute. The woman at the home in question said only she and her kids were home and denied officers access to the home.

▲ MORRIS STREET — Officers met with a woman who said she was involved in a domestic dispute. The other involved party was not present, and officers gave the woman information on a safe shelter.

▲ CHURCH STREET — A woman said someone intentionally damaged her mattress, iron, clothes and TV.

▲ UNDISCLOSED LOCATION — Police received tips on drug activity in two undisclosed locations in Statesboro.

▲ VARIOUS LOCATIONS — Officers investigated four crashes Tuesday.

▲ Officers issued no traffic citations and one traffic warning and assisted three motorists. 

▲ COBA BUILDING — Someone reported a theft.

▲ SOUTHERN PINES APARTMENTS — Officers responded to a domestic dispute call.
