➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ HIGHWAY 67 — A woman said she suspected someone tried to break into a shed at the Strickland Produce Stand. A piece of weather stripping on a shed door had been cut, she said.

▲ RIVER RETREAT — A man reported a burglary and said a window air conditioner was stolen.

▲ NEVILS DENMARK ROAD — A man said he suspects his son, who has an addiction problem, stole tools and cash from his residence. He said he saw on his son’s Facebook account that he was trying to sell the stolen items and was seeking drugs.


➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ DONNIE SIMMONS WAY — A student at the alternative school became upset, struck a teacher and left the premises. Department of Juvenile Justice caseworkers ordered the child turned over to guardians.

▲ JOHNSON STREET — A man was warned not to contact a complainant again after she reported receiving harassing communications from him.

▲ LITTLE LOTTS CREEK APARTMENTS — Witnesses told police they saw several people attack a victim, who was treated at the scene by EMS.

▲ HENRY BOULEVARD — A woman reported receiving a suspicious phone call. Reports did not include details of that call.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — A person stopped for illegal window tint was arrested on charges of possession of Ecstasy and marijuana, individually packaged for distribution.

▲ Officers issued three traffic citations and one traffic warning and assisted three motorists.

▲ SOUTHERN PINES APARTMENTS — Someone reported the theft of a bicycle.

In a separate case, officers investigated a drug complaint. No one was arrested. An offender was judicially referred to university officials for discipline.
