LANIER DRIVE - Deputies arrested a man who had lived in the area for more than 30 days without registering as a convicted sex offender.
CYPRESS LAKE ROAD - A woman asked a man she did not know for a ride. He picked her up and then backed into a wooded area and demanded sex for the ride. She told him she was "not that kind of girl," so he kicked her out of the car and drove off with her bag containing her phone and room key. A man later dropped the bag off at the Statesboro Police Department, claiming he found it on Cypress Lake Road. The man who dropped off the bag did not match the description of the man who allegedly propositioned the victim.
CLITO ROAD - A man and woman who lived and worked together on a local farm argued about food they were eating in a car. The man struck the woman several times, threw a piece of chicken at her and hit her in the face, then made her get out of the car. She told deputies that he had struck her before and that she was moving in with her father in another town.
TUSCANY TRAIL - A cab driver picked up a woman at Dingus Magees, took her to this location and waited for her to go "around back" and get the $10.50 fare. She never returned.
HIGHWAY 80 EAST - An apparently intoxicated woman was arrested after deputies responded to a call about her stabbing a man several times with a fork. The man said the two were arguing about drug and alcohol use in the home. The woman mildly resisted deputies' commands but was handcuffed.
