Bulloch County Sheriff's Office

OLD RIVER ROAD NORTH - A woman being treated for injuries at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center emergency room first told an investigating officer she had been in a garage when a sawed-off shotgun fell from a table. When she went to pick the gun up, it went off, pellets striking her in both legs. But after the officer left the room, returned a few minutes later and asked again, the victim's story reportedly changed, so that the gun fell in a bedroom when she moved a table to charge a phone. A boyfriend was also questioned, who gave the location as in Screven County, and the case was written up as a suspicious incident.
OAKRIDGE LANE - A woman reported receiving an envelope with information from a security company in it, including a business card for someone identified as a security consultant. But when she called the company, she was informed that they had no employee by that name.
U.S. HIGHWAY 80 EAST - A burglary was reported in which a lock was broken and several items taken from a shed identified as the Stilson Art Club's and used to store artwork.

Statesboro Police Department
VALLEY ROAD - A television valued at more than $450 was reported stolen from a residence in a burglary.
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - Food items valued at $63.64 were reported stolen in a shoplifting incident, and a woman was arrested.
BRAMPTON AVENUE - A man reported that he was a victim of an armed robbery at the Grove Apartments. Four men he didn't know approached him and demanded his wallet at gunpoint. The contents were valued at $70.
NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST - A convenience store employee reported an armed robbery in which more than $200 was taken by a man brandishing a knife.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued seven traffic warnings and no traffic citations and assisted one motorist.
