Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    HIGHWAY 80 WEST — A man and woman argued when exchanging child custody because the woman could not find the child’s jacket. The man said he had received several messages from the woman earlier and felt she was drunk. He admitted getting loud when he told her to grow up.
    MAGNOLIA BLUFF ROAD — A man reported the theft of a brass telescope valued at $2,000 and listed a subcontractor as suspect.
    BEN GRADY COLLINS ROAD — A woman said a man calls her, harassing her with accusations her husband is having an affair with his wife. He believes this is so because of messages sent between the two women. Since the complainant shares a social media account with her husband, the offender believes it is he who is sending the messages. The offender said he was coming to their house to discuss the matter, and the complainant felt that was a threat. She asked that the offender be served with a criminal trespass warning for her home.
    HIGHWAY 46/ASH BRANCH CHURCH ROAD — A man called deputies to report another man firing shots from a vehicle. The complainant said he had been following the offender due to reckless driving and that both he and the other man exchanged finger gestures. When the other man was questioned, he denied having fired shots and said there was only a .410 long gun in the vehicle. Deputies found a .9 millimeter shell casing that the man could not explain but did not find a handgun. The alleged offender claimed the complainant was the aggressive driver who tried to start a fight with him at an intersection.
    FOSTER WILLIAMS ROAD — A man reported a burglary during which someone stole a TV and stereo.
    BUCHAN ROAD — A juvenile said he was on a school bus when another juvenile took his bandana and refused to give it back, then struck him in the head, causing a visible injury.

Statesboro Police Department
    HERTY DRIVE — A woman said her juvenile son tried to make an online purchase illegally. She canceled the purchase and wanted a report for documentation.
    STADIUM VIEW APARTMENTS — A woman called police because her boyfriend refused to leave her apartment when she asked. Police stood by while the man left.
    EAGLE COURT APARTMENTS — An officer found seven locking mailboxes unlocked with the back doors open. A postman arrived to secure the boxes.
 
Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued one traffic citation and five traffic warnings and assisted four motorists.
