NESMITH ROAD - A woman said someone placed parts of a dead deer on her mailbox.
FRANKLIN ROAD - A woman said her ex-boyfriend refused to return her belongings.
MILL CREEK LODGE - After deputies responded to a reported suspicious incident and investigated, the complainant decided the assistance was not needed.
COWBOY WAY - A man reported seeing a dog and a person in his yard at night. A second sighting by one victim was a man wearing dark clothing going "over the hill" toward Pioneer Trail.
VICKI LANE - Someone set a fire in a flower pot on a porch, and the woman who called deputies said she suspected her brother. The property is involved in an estate situation.

Statesboro Police Department
SOUTH MAIN STREET - A driver who refused to stop when police tried to pull him over was charged with obstruction as well as driving with a suspended license.
MORRIS STREET - A woman said a man punched her in the stomach and took her cellphone during an altercation.
    Someone on the same block (100) reported damage to a deadbolt lock.
UNIVERSITY PLACE - Someone reported receiving harassing texts.
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - A person was cited and released for shoplifting a tire valve ($2.48), shoes ($18.44) and other property valued at $2.43.
NORTHSIDE DRIVE/LAIRSCEY STREET - A driver was located after fleeing from a hit-and-run and was charged with several violations including illegal alcohol use/possession and open container.
BUCKHAVEN WAY - A woman said a purse and contents were taken from an unsecured vehicle (non-forced entry).
FLORENCE AVENUE - A man reported as suspicious was found in the driver's seat of a vehicle, intoxicated. He refused testing and was arrested.
CARDINAL DIVE - A woman was given information on seeking warrants after she told police her friend tried to grab her phone and break it when she told him to get out of her car.
SOUTH MAIN STREET/EAST JONES AVENUE - Three adults and a juvenile were charged with marijuana possession after an officer stopped the car for having the wrong tag on it. When he stopped the car, the aroma of marijuana was evident, and a search revealed the presence of marijuana.
EAST JONES AVENUE - A female injured herself while having a loud argument on the phone with her ex-boyfriend. EMS responded and determined the woman was OK.
LANIER DRIVE - A man said he bought a phone that was not operational, although the seller said it was. He was given information on magistrate court.
SOLOMAN CIRCLE - Officers responded to a report of harassing phone calls.
LANIER DRIVE - Someone in the 200 block reported hearing shots fired, but no offender or victim was located.
BRAMPTON AVENUE - An uninvolved third party reported a domestic dispute. When police arrived, one involved person was gone, and the other did not wish to press charges.
SOUTH MAIN STREET - When officers arrived in response to a reported domestic dispute, the male involved said they had just been arguing over little things, and he agreed to leave for the time being.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued no traffic citations or traffic warnings and assisted three motorists.
