INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff's Office

LOCKETT LANE - A woman said a man with whom she had social media contact and texted issued sexual threats. She told deputies she no longer felt comfortable communicating with him.
CLIFTON ROAD - A woman said she was allowing family to have private time after a death. She said that when she refused to move when a woman tried to get past her, the woman hit her.
NORTH JACKSON ROAD - A woman reported having sent $2,000 to various locations via Western Union and learned she had been scammed.
SWALLOWTAIL DRIVE - A woman told deputies her daughter took her credit card while she was sick and in the hospital and took $260 from her account. The daughter stated her mother became ill when she had her with her in her car, and the two had made withdrawals to get cash to pay her mother's rent. Her mother was short, so she loaned her mother $260 from her paycheck, she said. She told deputies she took the money from her mother's credit card, which she said she already had and did not take from her mother's purse, as repayment because she didn't think her mother would care.
THE BARN MOBILE HOME PARK - Responding to complaints, deputies found three males in a car who admitted to smoking marijuana. Deputies also noted the car smelled of burnt marijuana and found a small amount in one man's possession. Two of the men were arrested.
119 CONNECTOR/HIGHWAY 80 EAST - A driver was arrested on DUI charges after a deputy found the person sitting in a vehicle at a stop sign.
POWELL PLACE - A woman and her daughter-in-law argued over the complainant's granddaughter, who lives with her grandmother, after the child missed school due to visits with the child's mother. The grandmother took the mother's keys in an attempt to make her stay and discuss the problem, but an altercation ensued. Deputies advised the grandmother and her son, the child's father, of magistrate solutions.

Statesboro Police Department
McTELL TRAIL - A woman told police she saw a man acting suspiciously, and he ran behind a building. Police did not locate the suspect.
KINGDOM CUTS/UNIVERSITY PLAZA - A woman said she and a friend had an argument that turned physical. Neither was arrested.
SOUTH MAIN STREET - A woman said she engaged in an argument with her sister and sister's roommate, and one woman threw a partially full soda bottle at her, hitting her in the head.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued two traffic citations and one traffic warning and assisted one motorist.
