Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
J.W. LANE - A woman told deputies her boyfriend kicked her out of the house because his dad wanted her gone, due to the fact that she has mental issues, and they didn't want to deal with it. She said she tried to hold the boyfriend as he was taking her to a friend's house, and he attacked her, making blood splatter inside the car. He took her to the hospital, but she was afraid to tell the truth, and when they left, he kicked her out of the car. She returned to the hospital and begged them not to report the incident, as she feared her boyfriend's family. The boyfriend later told deputies that the woman fell when he and his nephew were playing around and that he found out while she was at Georgia Regional (where she went after the hospital trip) that she had an affair.
SOUTHERN STATES COTTON GIN - A woman reported being threatened by a coworker. The coworker denied making threats but said the other woman cursed her. Both were advised to take the matter up with their supervisor.
BROOKLET-DENMARK ROAD - A man said his ex-wife, who does not have permission to pick up their child, did so anyway without permission or his knowledge. She texted him to say she had the child but would not answer the phone, he said.
YORKTOWN PLACE - A woman said a child walks past her home and teases her dog, who is contained by a wireless fence. The complainant fears the fence or collar battery may fail and that the dog may bite the child due to the teasing.
ZETTWELL ROAD - A man heard shots and went to investigate. He found a man on his property who he suspected was night hunting. The offender fled and struck the complainant's truck as he did so.
BOOSTER BOULEVARD - A woman said she bumped into another woman at a party, causing the other woman to use profanity. The complainant then admitted having poured her drink on the other woman, who then threw a bottle at her and pushed her after going outside.
HIGHWAY 46 - A woman told deputies her ex-boyfriend shoved her and pulled hair from her head during an argument that turned physical. Deputies found hair on the floor and saw that she had carpet burns on her knees. The man was arrested.
LANGSTON CHAPEL ROAD - Deputies directing traffic due to a large party (300 or more cars) were almost struck by a woman who did not obey orders. The deputies wore reflective clothing and used reflective traffic wands. The woman, intoxicated, was arrested.
FIRST DOWN COURT - Deputies were called to a party at which a fight involving bats was reported. Witnesses said a woman who had been thrown out of the party due to fighting returned with a crowd of others and started another fight. Several injuries were reported, and EMS responded to the scene.
