MILLER STREET EXTENSION — A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after someone reported a van he was in as suspicious.
EVERGREEN DRIVE — A highly intoxicated man argued with his wife and struck her in the mouth. She called deputies, who ended up in a physical struggle with the man as he resisted arrest. He raised a liquor bottle as if to strike them with it, spit on them and hit them as they struggled, and was subdued by Taser. Still combative at the jail, he lunged from a restraint chair as deputies were placing him in it (due to being combative) and struck deputies again. Once more he was subdued by Taser. He was charged with two counts of felony obstruction, simple battery (family violence), and three counts of third-degree cruelty to children, as the incident took place in the presence of three juveniles.
