Police report, 10/27/18
A woman said she made two friends leave her home because they did not pay rent. The two evicted people reportedly stood across the road and yelled that they would be back. The complainant was advised of available remedies.

▲ CAMBRIDGE THE PALMS — A man said he was robbed by another male, by force with no weapons. The suspect reportedly took a cell phone and cash, but the phone was recovered a short distance away.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — Police also responded to a reported robbery by sudden snatch. Report details were unavailable Friday.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued no traffic citations and one traffic warning and assisted seven motorists Thursday.

▲ NURSING AND CHEMISTRY BUILDING — Police responded to a drug complaint. No one was arrested.

In a separate call someone reported a theft.

▲ PAULSON STADIUM — A person was arrested for underage possession of alcohol, disorderly conduct and obstruction.

Another person was arrested for refusing to leave campus as ordered, disorderly conduct and obstruction.

▲ AGENCY ASSIST — Officers assisted Statesboro police at Cambridge-The Palms regarding a strong-arm robbery. Also, officers assisted Statesboro police at a call on Highway 301 South at Veteran’s Memorial Parkway
