All of Bulloch County Schools’ elementary, middle and high schools will host open house events for students and their families on Monday, July 29, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for elementary, and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for middle and high schools.
The first day of school will be Thursday, August 1, for all 15 of the county school district’s campuses, as well as its Transitions Learning Center and LEAP and LIFE learning programs.
Some schools may also host a separate open house for their prekindergarten, sixth-grade, and ninth-grade students and families, as these are gateway years. The individual schools communicate information about these special dates directly to students and parents. A directory of school websites can be found at www.bulloch.k12.ga.us/about/schools .
Transitions, LEAP & LIFE
For students who attend the Transitions Learning Center program, or TLC, its open house is Monday, July 29, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Guests will enter entrance E, which is the TLC’s main entrance, in the William James Educational Complex at 150 Williams Road in Statesboro.
The school district’s LEAP and LIFE programs will also host open houses on July 29, also at the William James Educational Complex, 150 Williams Road. For these programs, guests should enter entrance G at the back of the building. LEAP will greet families from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and LIFE at 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
