Troopers issued 36 traffic citations between Friday and Sunday.

Officers issued two traffic citations Friday.
Sherrie Lindsay Law, 20, Ga.24 — DUI.
Statesboro Police Incidents
WAL-MART – Loss prevention officers apprehended several shoplifters over the weekend. Also, a woman called police when her estranged husband followed her to the store. She said he has been trying to contact her via Facebook although she blocked him.
EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER – A woman called police to report the theft of clothing, jewelry and a Bible from her suitcase. She said she suspected a relative.
POPEYES — A woman became angry over the size of her side orders and slammed a door when she left, breaking it off the hinges.
MARTIN LUTHER KING BOULEVARD – A woman said another woman slapped her in the head as she sat in a car.
PARKER/BULLOCH STREETS – A woman called 911 to report her nephew walking down the street as he slashed his wrists. Responding officers ordered him to drop the razor blade, and he complied. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment and placed under a safety watch. Officers learned the man also had outstanding warrants form Bulloch and Screven counties.
CAMPUS CLUB APARTMENTS – Two women fought physically over an argument about a dog.
STADIUM WALK APARTMENTS – A man reported a GPS unit and $20 cash stolen from his car.
JIFFY LUBE — A man said a bottle of prescription medication (Percocet) was missing from his car.
FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS — A man spoke with police from the hospital, where he was treated for a lacerated lip, bruised ace and shoulder injury. He was too intoxicated to tell them how the injuries occurred.
Bulloch Sheriff’s Incidents
BOSS LANIER ROAD – (Portal) A man caught three offenders on his property stealing scrap metal. He detained them until deputies arrived to arrest them.
CEDARWOOD ACRES MOBILE HOME PARK – (Register) Deputies responding to a reported burglary in progress found two offenders. One was charged with wanted person due to outstanding warrants and the other was charged with burglary and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
Georgia Southern University Incidents
FRIDAY — Officers assisted five motorists, assisted one sick person and investigated two accidents.
SATURDAY — Officers issued two traffic warnings, assisted five motorists, and assisted another agency with a call.
SUNDAY — Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted two motorists and responded to one alarm.
CENTENNIAL PLACE – Someone reported a Chevrolet Silverado truck taken from Centennial Place.
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
Troopers issued 19 warnings and investigated 10 crashes over the weekend.
