Many local residents took note as Gnat's Landing on South Main Street closed its doors  Monday to prepare for a new management team to take charge.
Restaurant owner, Robert Bostock, said the restaurant will reopen Thursday for lunch.
"Everything is a go," Bostock said. "I needed to make some changes and felt like the best way to do that was to close for three days to allow for a smooth transition to new management."
Bostock said it will be business as usual as he prepares to cater a large Georgia Southern fraternity alumni party this coming Saturday night.
"I continue to be very excited about the Statesboro Gnat's Landing and all of the catering that we have lined up for this holiday season," he said. "We are back on the right track."
Bostock also owns a Gnat's Landing on St. Simons Island.
