Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jones of LaGrange announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Aubree Jones of LaGrange, to Duane Allen Treadwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emory Treadwell of LaGrange.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Melrose and the late Doy Jones of Portal and is the great-granddaughter of the late James and Viola Jones and the late Flanders and Beulah Smith. She is a graduate of Callaway High School and Southern Union State Community College. She is employed as a registered nurse in the emergency department at West Georgia Health Systems in LaGrange.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Troup High School and served in the U.S. Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is a firefighter/EMT for the City of LaGrange Fire Department.
The couple has planned to wed on April 26, 2008, at 4 p.m. at the Baptist Tabernacle Church in LaGrange.
