The weeklong camp focused on the the animated feature films from Disney as the inspiration for a variety of artistic expression, including clay projects, ceramic painting, glass fusing and painting on canvas.

Local children ages 4 and up enjoyed some artsy fun at Free Spirit Pottery & Glass Studio's Movie Art Camp this week.

Located in downtown Statesboro, Free Spirit's series of summer camps provide themed activities that center around projects that are fun, unique and challenging.

For this week's adventure, campers created a variety of different movie-themed projects using ceramic painting, glass fusing, canvas painting, clay building, tie dye and more.

Campers participated in Space Art Camp and Unicorn Princess Art Camp in late May and early June. Art camps set for the rest of the summer include Under the Sea, Mad Scientist, Wizard and Dino.
